the Kabini River, and is surrounded by a group of islets formed by the
reservoir.

Pookode Lake, a freshwater lake shaped like the map of India, is a

trees, the lake offers boating, nature walks, and a children’s park.

6. Meenmutty Waterfalls
Meenmutty Waterfalls is one of the largest waterfalls in Wayanad,
cascading from a height of 300 meters in three tiers. Falls are located
in a secluded area and can only be accessed via a 2 km trek through
dense forests. Trek is moderately challenging but rewards visitors with
breathtaking views of the falls and the surrounding landscape.
7. Kuruvadweep
Kuruvadweep, a group of islets on the Kabini River, is a unique
eco-tourism destination in Wayanad. Spread across 950 acres, the island
is home to rare species of birds, orchids, and herbs. Visitors can
