2. Chembra Peak
Chembra Peak is the highest peak in Wayanad and one of the most
popular trekking destinations in Kerala. The trek to the summit offers

4. Banasura Sagar Dam
Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India and the

the Kabini River, and is surrounded by a group of islets formed by the
reservoir.
5. Pookode Lake
Pookode Lake, a freshwater lake shaped like the map of India, is a
tranquil spot for nature lovers. Surrounded by lush greenery and tall
trees, the lake offers boating, nature walks, and a children’s park.
Lake is also home to a variety of fish and birds, making it a great

6. Meenmutty Waterfalls
Meenmutty Waterfalls is one of the largest waterfalls in Wayanad,
cascading from a height of 300 meters in three tiers. Falls are located
in a secluded area and can only be accessed via a 2 km trek through
dense forests. Trek is moderately challenging but rewards visitors with
breathtaking views of the falls and the surrounding landscape.
7. Kuruvadweep
Kuruvadweep, a group of islets on the Kabini River, is a unique
eco-tourism destination in Wayanad. Spread across 950 acres, the island
is home to rare species of birds, orchids, and herbs. Visitors can
